Worship is the heart and center of our church life. In God’s presence we find direction for our church and renewal for our personal lives all week long.
We believe that the Bible communicates the gospel of God’s love for us in Christ as well as the challenge of Christian discipleship. Through scripture reading and sermon, God’s Word approaches us. In the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, the joy of belonging to God and to one another is regularly celebrated and renewed. We respond to God’s love with our hymns of praise, prayers, choir anthems, and offerings. Excellent music has been a feature of our worships since the beginning.

Members are asked to volunteer to be ushers and greeters each Sunday. Ushers help worshipers participate comfortably and fully in the Worship Service. They assist with seating (amplification is available in select pews), hand out adult, children’s and large print bulletins, collect the offering and attend to any other needs particular to the morning’s program. Greeters extend a warm welcome to worshipers at both the Chapel and Sanctuary entrances.
Youth Sunday – scheduled in late spring, our Youth Sunday service provides the youth of our church an opportunity to lead our regular worship service in song, readings and sermon. Children ages three to eighteen use their talents to praise and celebrate our Christian Faith.
