Minister of Word and Sacrament
These I love: Sharing a meal and a glass of wine with family and friends, reading, exercising, racing triathlons, traveling, and listening to music. CCRC is a special place because of the people. Never before have I seen such love, faith, mutual support, unconditional acceptance, genuine interest in each other, joy, and fun concentrated in a group of people. We all love and enjoy being together and that is why I am still having as much purpose and fun here as when I started my ministry here many years ago.
Associate Minister of Word
and Sacrament. I am inspired by the diversity and beauty of God's creation, which is why I have an interest in photography and videography. Working at CCRC brings me immense joy because I find inspiration in witnessing the image of God in the lives of the people here. I am truly grateful to be a part of this vibrant and welcoming community, where every moment is a celebration of faith, creativity, and community.
Christian Education Director
It is a privilege to work with the children and families at CCRC, experiencing faith and wonder through the eyes and hearts of our youngest members. I treasure all four NY seasons and enjoy many outdoor activities as well as reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Walking in faith alongside the community and our church family brings me joy because there is always something new to learn or experience.
Pastoral Care Associate
Bell Choir Director
After I retired from a career in customer service for tech companies and the paper industry, I still wanted to engage with people and service. I enjoy contributing in my admin role at CCRC - good people, good projects and lots of creatives. I dote on my cats, support my elderly mom, and enjoy reading and counting cross stitch.
Drawing upon a solid foundation in the construction industry, I've found a fulfilling new path serving at CCRC. My role as a sexton allows me to contribute to the upkeep and care of our church's sacred space. I value the quiet moments of solitude that come with my responsibilities. It's a privilege to be part of a community where my work helps facilitate a welcoming and serene environment for all.
This ministry was started in 2006 and focuses on nurturing the spiritual well being of the congregation. The Pastoral Care Associate works collaboratively with the ministers, providing care to the ill, shut-in, bereaved, elderly, lonely or depressed, those in spiritual crisis and new members. In addition, the associate leads support groups with specific needs.
The Pastoral Care Associate is a liaison with Samaritan Care and co-ordinates Stephen Ministry. Working with the Stephen Ministry leaders the associate teaches the training course required of new ministers and leads the monthly educational meetings of commissioned ministers.
